About You
I really enjoyed the insight week, the exposure to the different departments through the departmental overviews, was both engaging and helpful.
I felt valued in my West End Investment team due to my mentor showing me the ropes as well as the director assigning me with tasks.
I received plenty of guidance and asked a lot of questions.
I have learnt an incredible amount in such a short space of time, I will 100% be applying for the summer scheme.
The Company
The insight was extremely organised by Eleanor, the variation in activities that we attended proved Savills to be the large firm that it is known to be.
The atmosphere in my team was more quite than other teams, but this is the nature of the difference between investment and agency for example.
I was given plenty of tasks of which I tackled head on, there is only a small amount of training they can give to someone that is only with them for one week.
It defiantly cleared up the APC pathway for me through the departmental overviews that they ran throughout the week. These were very insightful and I now have a more open mind to certain sides of the industry that I had previously decided I was not interested in.
I was always aware of the company culture at Savills compared to that of its competition. The culture of work hard play hard is a culture I would love to be apart of long term.
I will 100% now be applying to Savills for a job in the future now.
Everything Else
Savills are reimbursing us £10o for travel expenses.
Yes, there was a lunch with the directors, this was a great opportunity to ask them how they got into property, why they chose Savills and how long it took them to become a Director.

We had a talk on Graduate opportunities from Eleanor. this gave us an insight into the social side of savills and the different sports they play as well as other activities such as Hannah being a part of the Savills choir.
I am the president of Stenton Halls next year at the university of Reading, I will be insisting that all of the keen Real estate students in Stenton sign up for this fantastic opportunity.
