The Role
Absolutely superb, would recommend to anyone.
Felt well valued despite only being able to complete a basic level of work due to lack of experience.
My people manager John Tamplin was great as were all the other managers and associates. The recruitment team, Louise, Roz and Holly were really supportive and well-placed to advise me on relevant aspects of the job.
Kept very busy by the level of work which was exactly what I wanted, being only 6 weeks I felt it was important to try as much as possible and learn as much as possible, PwC's internship program helped me do this.
A lot more responsibility than I thought there would be.
Really helpful in terms of the specific skills I learned but also about applications, what prospective employers are looking for and networking too.
The Company
The teams I worked in were always really motivated and full of people I thoroughly enjoyed working with.
Couldn't fault the internship structure in any way.
It certainly felt like, as an individual, PwC really wanted to help me achieve my goals and wanted to help me get where I wanted to be.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Was offered a place on a graduate scheme with PwC following my internship which I intend to take.
The Culture
It is a really young company and the social scene was great, lots of meals out and big bar tabs.
I stayed at home so accommodation was free and all expenses (with very generous limits) were paid when working away.
As previously stated.
Always something going on, be it drinks, meals, golfing etc.
