    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • This definitely increases my knowledge on banking and markets, more than I could have imagined it would. And the fact that the staff were so eager to teach made it even better.

    • People took time out of their work to come and speak to us, and were very passionate about ensuring we were learning. The fact that very senior people at the bank came also meant a lot

    • A lot of information was provided, and a lot of insight. In the work shadowing everything was explained in great detail.

    • The tips I received will change my attitude to teamwork, and to setting goals and targets or myself academically and fulfilling them.

    • The insight was well structured and gave an even amount of time to the different areas

    • All staff were kind and welcoming and friendly, and so were the people in the cohort

    • A great deal of resources and staff were provided and there were also very useful networking sessions. The skills and team building sessions were also great.

    • The networking sessions, introductions to industry via case studies, and work shadowing sessions gave a great insight.

    • The company values are constantly mentioned, and are clearly underlying many decisions the firm takes, such as what companies the firm funds or works with.

    • This insight convinced me what future career path I'm interested in, by showing me what my skills are and showing what skills are required

    • I was paid a very generous amount, which I appreciated

    • There were several opportunities throughout the week and people often said to email them with questions

    • Very nice and very insightful, with nice food as well and a good range of employees

    • Yes, one of the networking sessions was with 7 other areas barclays works with, such as the military, outside of work

    • Yes I definitely would, Barclays is a wonderful firm
