About You
I enjoyed learning about the numerous departments involved in the real estate sector. Networking events helped me to develop my communication skills in a formal environment, as well as meet new people and gain vital insights and advice from them. I've enjoyed having the responsibility to do actual reports/work that go towards a project.
Everyone from the reception desk up to the fee earners were very kind, warming and helpful.
The guidance and support from both my mentor, team, department and heads of the programme was second to none
As I'm doing a non-cognate real estate course some of the skills I learnt about the industry do not apply. However I have gained many transferable skills this week, which will aid me in the rest of my degree greatly.
The Company
The insight week was clearly structured, with a timetable given to us before we arrived, which included tours, events and departmental overviews throughout the week- which I really enjoyed.
Everyone at Savills and on the insight programme were very engaging and social which helped to create a positive, enthusiastic atmosphere.
