About You
I got a lot of really great work which taught me about how the job would actually be.
From Associates to Buddies and HR there was a lot of support whenever I needed it.
Difficult to tell, but speaking about the realities of the law has been helpful for the GDL.
The Company
My only issue was that I had three supervisors in the first week which was a bit stressful. But overall it was well structured.
There were different sessions about different parts of the firm which were useful. I also had a lot of support from different people working in the firm who helped me with tasks.
Because I had a variety of work I got a very good insight into the type of work which I would do as a trainee.
I think talking to different people working at the firm helped me to understand what the company culture was actually like.
It helped me to realise why I had chosen to become a lawyer.
Everything Else
Although some of the events with trainees led to separate groups between trainees and vac schemers.
They were good on the whole.
Yes. I played Tag Rugby during my time there and found out about other sports as well.
Yes, I was surprised about how much work I was given and how interesting it was. I got to go to an arbitration hearing and sit in on client conference calls.
