The Role
The job was very long hours with very repetitive tasks.
Being a summer intern meant that i wasnt able to drive, whilst other staff members insisted that they didnt begrudge it, it was clear that it made their jobs harder.
My collegues were very supportive and encouraging.
A really busy environment and lots of multitasking. I did enjoy this but there was almost too much to do to get everything done well.
Contracts with customers had to be audited by managers.
The job was excellent experiance, customer service skills were improved hugely.
The Company
A lot of laughter! Part of the job was entertaining customers who were waiting for cars, so a very social job.
The process seemed to be constantly changing and i seemed to spend a lot of time on the phone to HR organising things. Interviews and assessments etc however were seemless.
A weeks introduction and then a training session 6 weeks in.
Hard work, but i think if you're prepared to give everything promotion is easy. long hours are a must however.
The Culture
everyone got along well
lived at home so minimal costs
We had work socials at clubs, bar tab at revs
football matches and charity days with work collegues
