About You
Very much. Grad rec was very welcoming and lawyers were very helpful, offering many tasks to learn from.
Grad rec made us feel important and trainees made us feel useful to be helping out with their work and helping to meet deadlines.
Much explanation was offered regarding the work being asked of us and somebody was always available for guidance or to answer questions even if they were not our trainee or grad rec.
Fantastic insight of what work in a commercial law firm is like and very helpful to know how to achieve it.
The Company
Perhaps fewer/shorter introductory talks so more time spent working in department.
Very positive.
Much work was given to help us understand the role of a trainee and work done in a commercial law firm. Drafting documents and carrying out work crucial to deals.
Timings of the day were probably a little unrealistic.
Very clear vision of what the company seeks to achieve and how it will go about doing that.
Very much so.
Everything Else
Was not made clear to me whether reimbursement was available.
Yes.
Networking could have been slightly better organised.
Only a few by way of personal research.
Yes.
