The Role
The whole experience was really enjoyable, both in and outside of work.
I was made to feel welcome from the very first day, everyone was willing to help and so easy to get on with.
Everyone was happy to give up their precious time to help if I was stuck with something, or had a question to ask.
Some days were a little quiet, which is understandable as the job involves a lot of responsibility and I was completely new to it. However, we were given access to online training which was useful in passing the time.
We were given jobs that a normal graduate trainee would have to do, and had to interact with clients as a normal employee would.
Teamwork and communication skills were invaluable.
The Company
Everyone was so friendly, and there was a number of social events which we were invited to.
Our laptops were ready for us on our first day, and we knew well in advance where we would be working each week.
We were given online training to do.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I got offered a job.
The Culture
We all got along really well, and attended the majority of social events.
I lived at home so that does not apply. Socialising is pretty similar to most cities.
Leicester itself isn't great, although the office tends to mix with the Nottingham office, which is a much better night out!
Some activities included inter-office cricket, 5-a-side football, rounders.
