  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The whole experience was really enjoyable, both in and outside of work.

  • I was made to feel welcome from the very first day, everyone was willing to help and so easy to get on with.

  • Everyone was happy to give up their precious time to help if I was stuck with something, or had a question to ask.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days were a little quiet, which is understandable as the job involves a lot of responsibility and I was completely new to it. However, we were given access to online training which was useful in passing the time.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • We were given jobs that a normal graduate trainee would have to do, and had to interact with clients as a normal employee would.

  • Teamwork and communication skills were invaluable.

  • Everyone was so friendly, and there was a number of social events which we were invited to.

  • Our laptops were ready for us on our first day, and we knew well in advance where we would be working each week.

  • We were given online training to do.

  • I got offered a job.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We all got along really well, and attended the majority of social events.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home so that does not apply. Socialising is pretty similar to most cities.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Leicester itself isn't great, although the office tends to mix with the Nottingham office, which is a much better night out!

  • Some activities included inter-office cricket, 5-a-side football, rounders.
