The Role
I enjoyed it mostly because of the people I worked with. I always worked in teams so there were always people around to talk to and ask for help if needed. The work itself wasn't that interesting though and I often got bored.
My colleagues were all very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to offer help and take the time to explain things to me. They were also very understanding of my position as an intern that has little knowledge of the work.
My in-charges were happy to guide me when I needed them to. They tried to explain the work in a simpler way so I would understand. They had no problem in me asking them questions and often they encouraged them.
They often ran out of work for me to do but there weren't any long periods of no work. Quite quickly, another job would come along that I could do. I asked for more work whenever I had none to do.
Since I was always working in a team, the other team members took most of the responsibilities, which is understandable. They only gave me the responsibilities that I could handle and I was happy with this.
It gave me a good insight into the real world of business. My job involved going to many different clients through the internship and so I saw how many different types of businesses worked. I learnt mostly about the tests done to check that the clients' accounts were accurate. The training is very beneficial if you were to apply for the job afterwards.
The Company
It was very relaxed and people felt comfortable to have general conversations in the office. Everybody in the company got on with each other really well.
It was organised so that I visited clients close to where I lived so I found this very helpful. They had organised what clients I would go to well in advance. They could have planned more of what particular jobs I would do for each client.
They invested their time in me. My colleagues were very approachable and willing to help me understand more about the job. It was paid as well so the firm invested a decent amount of money in me.

Company Parties/Events
There is a high chance of interns getting a job there. This is what I was told by colleagues. I had an interview with them and I believe it is promising.
The Culture
There was only one other placement student and the only social events I had with them were the company ones.
Reasonable. Often the managers pay for drinks so this is a bonus.
We didn't go out much late in the evening but had evening meals out.
There were a few. For example, our company played rounders and football against another company, which I could participate in. There were also some other company events such as a summer BBQ.
