The Role
I have really enjoyed my placement. I have enjoyed having a lot of responsibility within my team as well as being able to learn more about other areas of the business outside my job role.
My colleagues were extremely welcoming and ensured that I was gaining as much as I could out of my placement year.
My on the job couch is amazing, we meet every week to talk about how the job is going. She is amazing at giving me advise and helping me when I feel overwhelmed.
I have enough work to keep me busy on a daily basis, however, there is room to take on other projects outside of my team.
I had a good amount of responsibility. There was always the opportunity to ask for more responsibility.
I have gained experience which I will definitely be able to transfer to other jobs for after I graduate. This placement has given me time to work on my personal development.
The Company
The atmosphere was very good. There were at least 50 of us interns in the office. This helps create a fun atmosphere while at work.
Very well organised. There was very good training at the start of placement. The 5 week handover period was perfect in getting the Interns ready for the placement year. My on the job coach ensured that I was getting the most out of my placement.
Everyone in my team has helped to ensure that I am gaining skills through out my placement. The company invests a lot in training and personal development. My coach was always there to ensure I was pushing myself and giving me opportunities to further develop my skills.

Very appealing. They look after their employee's really well. Unfortunately they don't have a graduate scheme.
The Culture
Yes. There are loads of student committees where the interns plan sports events, social events and charitable activities. There are Intel sports teams as well which are very fun!
Living in Swindon was great for low rent.
It was okay, there are a few clubs within Swindon that are good. With a big group of interns the best bit was the pre drinks! We are close to Reading and Bristol so we would go there occasionally too.
There are sports and social clubs.
