About You
I had a great time with the trainees and my fellow participants. I really enjoyed the bowling and drinks.
Everyone at my department was really friend and popped in occasionally to have a chat with me.
I received a lot of guidance from my supervisor and she took her time to explain rather difficult concepts to me.
I will be taking equity and trusts next year and all the terminologies I've learned from the scheme would give me a huge advantage early on. Reading terms and conditions of deals also gave me a better understanding of what I've been learning in contract law.
The Company
It had the right mix of all the activities and we never spent too much or too little time on any activity. It was obvious the amount of planning and hardwork that had gone into organizing the scheme.
Everyone was really friendly and chatty and I felt really welcome. There were no unpleasant moments whatsoever.
I received personalised attention and a highly informative session on personal branding. The company made a huge effort to ensure we all learned a lot more about corporate law in the time we spent there.
I had honest conversations with trainees about these issues.
Interacting with people there gave me insights into the friendly, open and inclusive culture at Simmons.
I'm now quite sure I want to be a corporate lawyer. I'm definitely more interested in exploring capital markets further
Everything Else
Yes
I had never gone bowling before so I loved it. The food was really great as well. It was a great chance to know the other participants really well and I still keep in touch with some of them.
Yes. I was particularly interested in the sports teams. Apparently one can even get funding to start a new one.
Totally.
