The Role
Very happy with the the internship itself, although the social side of it is not as good as rival firms.
I was made to feel like a valued member of the team, although at one point I felt a little devalued when I decided that I did not want tot pursue a graduate job in the department that my internship was in.
Senior managers and my in-charge on each client were fantastic.
Extremely busy within the first few and latter weeks, although there was a period in the middle where I had little to do.
Responsibility was great, which was thoroughly enjoyable, as it makes you seem like you are making a positive contribution to the team.
Brilliant. if only I had completed my placement before I studied the audit course at my university!
The Company
Everyone was very pleasant and fun to work with.
I am disappointed with the way I was assigned to clients, and also the final stage of the internship, in relation to securing a graduate job, has been very poorly organized, and despite finishing my internship over 3 weeks ago, I still do no know the date of my partner interview.
I am very satisfied with the amount time and money that KPMG invested in my personal training and development
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
I still do not know when my partner interview is!
The Culture
The other interns often arranged nights out amongst themselves. i have made several new friends because of this.
Glasgow is not as expensive as some areas in the UK.
Brilliant. Glasgow is a great place to go out and socialize.
My department did not have a 5's team, or anyone that played golf or any other activity I would like to have partaken in, so there was no opportunities for me to get involved in activities outside of work.
