About You
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Taylor Wessing for the first year open day. I truly gained an insight into the culture, ethos and inner workings of the firm.
From the offset the staff at Taylor Wessing were kind and courteous. They made sure that I and others were comfortable throughout the day.
The tips given for applying to vacations schemes at Taylor Wessing were very helpful.
The Company
The day was structured perfectly without fault. From introduction to the business game and drinks reception.
A friendly atmosphere but one that still left the impression that this was a firm that is serious and proud about what they do and how they do it.
Everything Else
reimbursed for travel expenses.
Yes there were several opportunities to network on the day. At lunch, which was provided by Taylor Wessing we were given the opportunity to chat with trainees of the firm and learn from their experiences. For the business game we were asked to present in front of two very friendly partners of the firm. At the end of the day we were able to meet employees from Taylor Wessing at the drinks reception.
This is the one thing that could perhaps be improved upon. I don't feel like i learned much what employees can get involved with outside of work such as charity events or pro-bono.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this insight to a friend. It is crucial to attend events such as these to firstly, ensure that this is the career route that you want to take and that this is the right firm for you. Taylor Wessing is truly a top notch international firm, the opportunity to attend an event like this is invaluable.
