The Role
It was a really good placement, and I'm really happy that I was able to come here for my work experience. Can't really think of any place better to go to than here.
All of my colleagues were lovely and really welcoming all throughout the placement.
I was given a lot of great support and management. If I didn't understand something, all I had to do was ask, and they would help me straight away.
It was great, I definitely wasn't completely smothered by tasks and definitely wasn't bored out of my wits. There was a really good balance.
I had quite a bit of responsibility; I was given proper tasks to do, like sending emails, making phone calls and organising the calendar.
The skills were really helpful, I'll definitely use them again.
The Company
It was a comfortable and light working atmosphere: never dull.
Really well-organised: on the first day of the placement, I was given a plan for my week in the department, with all of my tasks that I had to do on there. Once I'd finished a task, my supervisor would set me up straight away onto the next one.
They gave me some independence in drafting my own emails and making my own decisions in tasks, so that was great.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Really appealing: the departments I worked in throughout the placement I found really enjoyable, and I wouldn't mind working with them for future employment prospects.
The Culture
I didn't see any other fellow placement students, but I did see a few applicants in the Interview stage who were interested in joining the company. The social scene was fine.
I live in the area, and everything's fine.
I live in the area, and the Nightlife's alright.
There are loads of clubs and activities available.
