The Role
A challenge, but well supported and interesting.
I did work that was given to customers and is now running.
A good mentoring system - sometimes a bit out if my depth, but very supportive.
Mostly very busy, never had to work longer hours, although some people did. Occasionally ran out of work.
Quite a bit for an intern, although always closely reporting to my mentor.
I learnt some useful coding skills but nothing for my degree (I wasn't expecting to).
The Company
Mine was quite quiet and serious, but others were a bit more relaxed and chatty.
Very well, for the most part, but with a few hitches here and there.
The company dies this exceptionally well, and I got a lot out of it.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very attractive.
The Culture
Quite good, but the area is very quiet and not that much was organised.
London suburb, so expensive.
Non-existent unless you go into London.
Lots of sport and board games, nothing much else.
