    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight days were extremely well structured and kept us busy! The first day gave us a chance to adjust to our surroundings and get to know the company, the staff, as well as the other students on the programme. The second day was more hands-on and gave us the opportunity to become more involved with the type of work EY does.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was overall really friendly and relaxed. However we were always busy and working hard at the same time. I think EY did an excellent job of making everyone feel comfortable and valued.

  • We were given great insights from a range of staff members from those on the graduate schemes right up to partners. This was great for gaining a broad view of the company and what it's like to work there. We also took part in a case study which really reflected the type of work we would do if working full-time with EY.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Culture is extremely important to EY and every member of staff highlighted the importance of the people of the firm. This was reflected in the way were treated on the programme. The culture of EY is extremely inclusive, welcoming and helpful.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • We were provided with many opportunities to hear from people working in different parts of the firm which was really helpful. However, I think there could be more done to help students decide how to make the decision of which service line to enter as this is a difficult decision.
