About You
Overall, the Insight Scheme was very enjoyable. I gained valuable first hand experience of the firm's culture and the day-to-day work of lawyers at the firm.
Members of the firm seem genuinely interested in you as a person.
Supervisors were very approachable and helpful, and were always ready to answer any questions I had.
The Company
There were plenty of socials and opportunities to get to know other people on the scheme, and everyone on the scheme was friendly and open. The firm's trainees and HR members were also very involved in the socials. Lunch with associates at the firm was also a great experience.
There were business case studies and personal development workshops, which were really insightful.
Being involved in actual work means that you get to work among the firm's lawyers and experience day-to-day life at the firm.
Talking with lawyers at the firm helped me improve my understanding of the different practice areas.
Everything Else
There were plenty of socials and lunch events where you can speak with HR and lawyers at the firm. My supervisor also very kindly introduced me to other members of the department he was in.
Socials were really fun and inclusive.
