About You
I have enjoyed it a lot! Although it is a relatively short spring intern, it is fulfilling given that it only have two days.
People at EY have shown full respect and patience towards us! They have been well-prepared for this insight.
This might be the best part of the insight! People at EY are quite approachable and supportive. They are giving genuine advice and answers all our doubts. They are also encouraging and enthusiastic which makes the insight a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Information regarding how the industry works, especially tax and assurance sector. What environment and experience will I get when if I were to work in EY.
The Company
It is quite nicely structured. I am totally good with the arrangement. But I do feel that we could learn more if the program is integrated with other sectors, and extent the insight to probably a week. We can have more presentations and talks for each day which saves the stage of assessment centre to summer internship.
It is a friendly and supportive atmosphere, like the culture at EY.
They have put in a lot of effort into organising this events, including the talks, meals, and accommodation.
There are people from different positions which gave us a coherent and comprehensive picture of the environment at EY, and what to expect to have a full-time role.
This insight has absolutely helped us to understand the culture! The culture demonstrated is coherent ranging from manager to partners.
This has helped me to know the culture which I could find from online, and it has provided insights to me regarding this industry.
Everything Else
I did not expect a pay for only two days. But it would be nice if the accommodation before the first day is provided. Many interns are not from the local city, so it can be tiring when they need to travel in the morning.
Yes! We have networking opportunities in the morning, and during breaks between the talks. The dinner is also well-planned, and it is another opportunities for networking and meeting new people.
The environment is really comfortable and not overly-pressurised, and I feel comfortable talking my peers and the employees at the company.
The dinner on the first day is really great, which we have interacted with employees in EY outside of work.
Absolutely! I feel so fortunate to have this opportunity, and the experience has not failed expectation at all!
