About You
Both the trainee buddy and the associate who looked after me were fantastic. They took time to explain things to me, and I was able to learn a lot as a result.
The Company
The scheme was well balanced with activities (legal insight sessions and skills workshops). There was also a good amount of time spent in your assigned department.
The atmosphere at the office was very collegiate, the Sheffield office of CMS Cameron McKenna LLP would be a place that I would enjoy working.
The CMS First Steps scheme was only a week long. I think the amount of formal training was fitting for this relatively short placement.
Everything Else
The mid-week social was a great way to meet the other trainees at the firm.
I absolutely loved my week at Nabarro LLP (now CMS Cameron McKenna), and I was sad to leave. I would definitely recommend this scheme to a friend.
