About You
I thought the insight week was very enjoyable. The week was with about 25 other students which meant there were enough new people to meet and get to know without it being overwhelming. The activities were different each day and it was interesting to learn about the FCA from those who have worked there for many years and from those who have joined through the graduate scheme.
No patronising/talking down to us despite only being first years. Everyone at the FCA were lovely.
Opportunity to network, talk to graduates and the team that organised the week were incredibly helpful.
The opportunity to work with a variety of different people with different skills and knowledge developed important communication and team working skills. Also became more confident in presenting.
The Company
Each day was well planned out with drinks at the end of the week to draw the insight to a close and celebrate. Different activities each day and various opportunities to talk with current graduates.
Enjoyable and productive.
Told us about the opportunities for summer interns and graduates.
Different talks and speaking to current employees helped provide a full understanding of what it would be like to work for the FCA.
Great company culture.
Would love to work for the FCA/regulatory business in the future.
Everything Else
Hotel accommodation and travel expenses reimbursed.
Plenty of opportunities each day.
Lots of networking opportunities. Social event at the end of the week and staying in the hotel meant I was able to hang out with the other students also there.
volunteering, further development of skills, etc.
