    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Whilst L'Oreal is highly challenging and fast paced I have enjoyed the past year for a variety of different reasons such as the culture, the jobs and projects I have been part of and the exposure to high management which has been a huge benefit for me.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Like every company, you can sometimes feel lost under the work. However I do feel L'Oreal truly try to show interest, support and empowerment in all their members and I have felt valued by my time and part of the community since day 1.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • To those that seek guidance and assistance there will always be somebody at L'Oreal who can help and support you in your attempt to reach a goal. Equally L'Oreal urge you to become independent and work on your problem solving skills. For me personally these are things that came as I naturally progressed in the job and gained a deeper learning about my role.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On a day to day basis I believe I am very busy and I have had to adapt my way of working in order to be efficient at L'Olreal, I do however feel this has taught me valuable life skills which will be a huge asset no matter what industry or obstacle I face.

    2/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Since day one I have been guided into becoming independent at L'Oreal and given a level of responsibility I never thought I would receive during a work placement. Some projects have seen me work on huge jobs in which I was in direct contact with our suppliers, customers and account holders.

    5/5
