The Role
Good placement challenging learnt a lot of new skills from day one.
There has always been support from my manager or other colleagues around. There was always further training given to help with running the desk effectively.
It depends on the work flow and the amount of jobs l had to fill and dependent on the deadline as well. It can go from moderately busy to really busy and not having enough time in the day to finish all the task's. Which is good, as l am the type of person who prefers to be busy.
You given a lot of responsibility you are effectively running your own small business based on the area you recruit for. The success of the desk is dependent and you are responsible for dealing with both clients and candidates.
I am currently studying business management, I think the skill and knowledge l have learnt have given me a practical understanding of what it would be like to run your business. I also think my people skills have developed a lot more which l will able to use in the future inside and outside of uni.
