The Role
It was enjoyable because the work was fulfilling.
They did alot to make me comfortable and give me as much exposure to the business as possible. They also made sure I was doing meaningful work and developing valuable skills needed in the business.
I was given regular feedback and many oppurtunities to work on the feedback. They did put in alot of effort in making sure I was really getting what I wanted out of the internship.
Generally I was fairly busy as I already had a fixed set of resonsibilities from the day I started. It got busier occasionally.
I would say the focus was more on learning and develoing rather than taking control. But they did give me resposibilities where they thought it would be suitable.
I think the internship really helped develop and identify some of the key soft skills and I was given really valuable feedback on how to work on imroving these. This will be really helpful in the future.
The Company
It was a mixture largely due to the fact that the project involved peole of various temeraments.
The administrative details could have been managed better. There was no real clear line of authority and lots of little things that should have been exlained to us during induction were left out.
There was alot of good personal feedback. There could have been more in terms of team building and associating with the firm.
