The Role
I enjoyed the placement, but the expected hours of work can soon catch up with you especially if you have hobbies you do daily after work.
Depending on what you were doing and the colleagues around you really played a factor of feeling valued. As some of the work I did goes unseen from colleagues that work on a separate part of the project.
I was given a lot of support and guidance from a select members of the time as others maybe too busy.
Busy enough to be kept busy and put in the extra hours.
I was given different levels of responsibility at didn't stages of the of my placement.
The skills will help understand the theory in my course and offer better un depth explanations.
The Company
Very dependent on the day and how busy the site was. But everyone is usually in a positive mood.
At the beginning it wasn't so organized, partly my fault, but by the middle I felt it was adequately structured.
Given a free roam to do as much training as you like.
Company Parties/Events
In the process of agreeing a possible job with them.
The Culture
Yes
The cost of living was a lot more expensive considering moving to central London. This also limited you on how much of the great social life you could enjoy.
It was very good in central London and the surrounding areas.
Yes, but very little time after work.
