The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed placement and always being exposed to new ideas and concepts and their implementation.
During the latter stages of the placement year when i had experience and knew more about what i should be looking into i felt very valued.
Excellent guidance and help through a team of chartered engineers always ready and willing to answer any questions i had.
I was kept busy but as with all jobs this fluctuated throughout the year
A reasonable amount with some designs of mine implemented.
an immeasurable amount!
The Company
Every office i was in during the year was unique. Working from the companies base office offered a much more official environment and moving in a live construction office towards the end offered another different perspective with a lively busy atmosphere.
The placement was reasonably structured but due to the market situation there was a notable ebb and flow of work.
I partook in a number of courses during my time with the company.
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing with a great time from which i can progress and learn within.
The Culture
there was a few events with fellow placement students and we shared a volunteering day.
Expensive due to london prices.
Good if expensive so not financially viable for a placement student.
There was a number of opportunities put forward for me outside of work which I took advantage of.
