The Role
Completely exceeded expectations which were already high.
Felt very valued, treated like a qualified member of the team and given actual client work.
I was always told to ask if I needed help, any issues I had were resolved and never a problem to those in the department.
Department made sure I was involved in as much client work as possible so never left twiddling my thumbs at all during my placement.
Obviously as a student there where limitations but I have to admit I was given more responsibility than I thought I would ever get given...brilliant!
I feel more confident as a person due to the activities I undertook, and the responsibilty I was given. The placement made me realise how much I want to work for KPMG.
The Company
Professional, but down to earth and a good laugh.
Fantastic, was never left with nothing to do, and everyone was very excepting. I was given a mentor and line manager to oversee my placement.
Spend 4 days training at business school, and constantly offered on the job training throughout.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Final partner interview in store so hopefully...
The Culture
Yes, everyone was very accomodating and wanting to have a good time.
Manchesters not to expensive as long as you prepare and save a little in advance, especially if you need accomodation.
Great!!
5 a-side football every week.
