The Role
The work was fairly mundane and repetitive, a lot of spreadsheets etc
Most i felt valued, however to some i was just an easy pass off for mundane and admin jobs
Only in my 8th month I had a personal developement meeting with my programmes lead, who was new to the position.
Pretty busy, but mainly mundane tasks
Not a lot, just for setting meetings and take minutes
Not a great deal
The Company
in my first office it was very quite and boring, i was with people who weren't doing the same programme as i was so i had no one to talk to about my work. however halfway through the year i moved to a different office with people who were on the same programme as myself so i could talk to them about the work and they were generally alot more talkative and fun.
pretty poorly, even starting was poorly organised, had to wait months to get a startdate and then only have a weeks notice. there was no structure throughout the placement, i was put into a postition to do a task and the admin roles others did not want to do.
apart from the compulsory training there was none
not really
The Culture
there was a good group of young people there so the social scene was quite good.
living costs were fairly high due to living in the south, not much different from when i am at uni
it wasnt great, have to travel quite far to go anywhere good, which costs about £50 to get a taxi home from
there was a football club every uesday but other than that there was nothing
