The Role
I really enjoyed my placement, and felt like I've learnt beyond what I expected
I felt valued, although it can be hard at first.
I had support at every point during the placement and always felt like I could ask for help if I needed it.
Dependent on the day, however always relatively business but manageable in a way I could have a great work-life balance
Great amounts of responsibility, that allowed me to learn lots and feel like I can be relied on.
The skills will definitely help me in my future work life, as I now know what to expect in the business world.
The Company
Always a very welcoming atmosphere, where I felt comfortable very quickly. Everyone is very approachable
It was quite well organised, however in terms of progression after the placement i.e. grad scheme, organisation lacked slightly
There was an opportunity for training and development but I needed to take the initiative on this if I wanted extra learning opportunities
Flexi Time
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
I would really like the grad scheme, as I feel like it could give me great experience.
The Culture
There was social scene, and opportunities to have out-side of work activities
The area is slightly more expensive however this comes with living in London and was expected
There wasn't that much nightlife in the immediate surroundings, however central London is so close, and there are endless options there
Some opportunities, but not too many
