The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my placement as from day one I was given a great deal of responsibility from very early on. The teams are fantastic at Danone and they really help you grow and develop as a placement year student.
Felt valued everyday as I am made to feel comfortable in the team. My collegues are great at giving feedback on the work I do which makes you realise they care a great deal about you within the team and genuinely want you to exceed expectations and do well.
I have weekly catch up's with my line manager whereby we discuss what I have been doing, and look through the work I have done which allows my manager to give me guidance for the week ahead.
Usually very busy and the day goes by.
Lots of responsibility from the onset. The amount of responsiblity increases once you feel comfortable and are given the freedom to explore new ideas and lead any of you own projects.
It will assit my degree through the time management skills I have developed throughout this year. I have developed a range of skills through having a strong foundation at Danone. By working in the sales team I have met customers, have consant communications and developed my business ethic which is something I know will help me throughout any future endeavours
