The Role
I have really enjoyed it actually. Getting to be a part of a team that gets me involved was great, and I liked getting to put into practice things I had learned at uni.
My team is growing rapidly so it's a nice feeling being here from the start. I like being asked to do things and having people come to me for help. My team all treat me really well!
Both my manager and the other managers that I know give me a lot of guidance about how I should approach certain situations, such as dealing with others and how to persuade people.
It has definitely gotten busier from around March time. Now struggling to finish a lot of my tasks - makes the days go quicker however!
Quite a bit. I've lead projects dealing with both internal and external parties. This was daunting at first but I feel like it has helped my confidence.
I'm unsure, as really the working world is so different. I will definitely go back to uni being a better team player and a more confident individual though.
The Company
The office itself was quite quiet and bland - but my team were very fun. We decorated the office around Christmas, had a bake-off competition, meals out... having my team really made this placement for me.
We were not put in contact with other interns until very late and also the whole process with the Hays agency was quite messy.
Training courses were available but there was little push to get involved.
Flexi Time

Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop

Working from home
There are no current opportunities for grad jobs but they are looking into it. I have been informally asked to come back but who knows.
The Culture
Yes - lots of other students here in the same position as me. Made things easier.
Being close to London was pricey.
Basingstoke is hardly the most exciting place...
There is a company football team as well as cheap Vue cinema tickets. The office regularly hosted movie nights as well.
