The Role
Not in my degree field, but made the most of it.... and it paid off
I wasn't treated as 'just an intern', but rather as a valued member of the organisation.
Couldn't have asked for better managers/mentors.
Not a perfect balance, but balanced enough.
I was trusted with responsibilities like I have been there a long time, which felt good :)
Was retained part time by the company alongside my studies, and graduated with a 1st class in my degree.
The Company
Lots of positive energy.....
Being the first year long intern with them, it was also a learning curve for them, as much as it was for me.
No holds barred - when it came investing for employees' personal development, as well as the company's growth.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Working part-time with the company, while I study for my MSc
The Culture
Usually a nice (almost every) Friday lunch with colleagues at a nearby restaurant.
Its London.....
Fridays were good!
The company is very community oriented, supporting four (4) different local charities.
