    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it very much and received a good induction into the trust, including time in theatres and shaddowing different people. However, I was left with little to do on occasions.

  • I was able to help out different people in the department, though it took a little while to prove I was capable.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Unfortunately, my manager was away for the first 2 weeks of my placement. However, when they were around I was very supported.

  • I did not really have enough to do, this did mean that I had to be very pro-active in finding things to do.

  • The right amount of responsibility for the things I had to do.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It was a very worthwhile experience and forcing me to be pro-active in seeking out work and experieces for myself greatly helped with my networking and experience of different areas.

  • Friendly at work but nothing outside of work.

  • London is so expensive!

  • Lots of bars and pubs close by
