The Role
I enjoyed it very much and received a good induction into the trust, including time in theatres and shaddowing different people. However, I was left with little to do on occasions.
I was able to help out different people in the department, though it took a little while to prove I was capable.
Unfortunately, my manager was away for the first 2 weeks of my placement. However, when they were around I was very supported.
I did not really have enough to do, this did mean that I had to be very pro-active in finding things to do.
The right amount of responsibility for the things I had to do.
It was a very worthwhile experience and forcing me to be pro-active in seeking out work and experieces for myself greatly helped with my networking and experience of different areas.
The Company
I did secure a job within the hospital but in another department.
The Culture
Friendly at work but nothing outside of work.
London is so expensive!
Lots of bars and pubs close by
I was invited to a few nights out.
