The Role
I wasn't given enough to do and when I was given work it was not stimulating. It was often just copy and past jobs or Qcing work.
I get on with all my colleagues but they couldn't give me work to do as I was not at their level of knowledge
My manager was often quite busy and when I did ask her for help I often found it difficult to understand her explanation and came away more confused.
I often had nothing to do
I had more responsibility at the start and then my work load decreased significantly
I have learnt some skills and statistical definitions that will help me in one of my modules next year.
The Company
It was often quiet and on some days I would be the only person in the office
more detail should have been put into the organisation of my placement. There should have been back up plans and work always waiting for me.
At the start I received a lot of support with my development and towards the end I felt a little isolated and forgotten about
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Not very appealing although I still think the company itself is great
The Culture
For some there was but as I was in a department on my own I did not get to be that involved because the IPs weren't often mixed up
It was a little pricey and I didn't live walking distance from anywhere. Taxis were very expensive!
Terrible unless you went into London in which case you would always have trouble getting home
Not that I can think of
