The Role
Got on phenomenally well with managers and other employees. Enjoyed heading into work and being able to ask questions with complete freedom. Top experience.
All of them were appreciative when I chipped in where I could and come the end of my internship, they all gave positive remarks.
Quality manager who I am still in contact with a couple of months after having finished. Great guy who often went out of his way to create opportunities for me in order to further my experience.
When I was in the process of completing my project, days were often gone in what seemed like seconds. However, once completed, and on quieter days in the branch there were occasionally times where there was little for me to get involved in.
I was entrusted with dealing with customer's 'quick queries' as well as highlighting to customer the ways in which they could further their involvement with the bank.
Not sure how much it'll assist me in my studies but has definitely served to educate me in effective man - management techniques.
The Company
As aforementioned, I enjoyed going to work everyday. Atmosphere was often jovial despite many issues which might have ruined the atmosphere.
Enjoyed the induction as well as the days at Canary Wharf and the Community Day. My manager was also exceptional in organising things for me to attend, but obviously this is a variable factor.
Financial Bonus
Would 100% take the offer when it comes. Do not enjoy the long wait before hearing back though, nervous wait.
The Culture
A couple of evening's out organised.
Central London is never going to be cheap, but, did often go out with colleagues on Friday evenings.
GCC (charity) opportunities aplenty.
