The Role
Thoroughly enjoyable, especially the opportunities at regional and national level.
Valued highly by senior management within the business. To be valued by other colleagues, you had to prove what you could do for them first - much like any job.
Support was fantastic when requested. However, you have to seek out support and guidance often.
This varied massively and was more about how busy you wanted to make yourself.
The project gave me responsibility for an area, however sometimes this area wasn't taken as seriously by other colleagues. However, that was all part of the challenge and appeal.
Unlikely to have much relevance to my degree due to the completely different nature. However, likely to be important for future career prospects.
The Company
Although staff upheaval was high at the time, nearly all the staff were fully engaging.

Perhaps one of the weaker areas in terms of development other than personal experiences. Much of the learning is on a more informal level. To gain experience, you sometimes had to continuously ask for something to be explained.
National Travel
Above 25 days holiday

The Culture
Although I got on well with many of my colleagues, if outside of London there can be limited opportunities to meet up with each other.
Commuted from home.
Lived at home.
Played football with the branch team against other branches. Nights at bowling. Drinks on Fridays. Met up with other interns when having days based in London.
