The Role
The work I took responsibility for was highly fulfilling and challenging. It stretched me but also allowed me show my full potential.
There is a great culture in Unilever especially in recognition of other people's achievements.
There was always support when I needed it and it left me going back to my work with renewed confidence. There is also a wide variety of resources through people and training which helped significantly.
There was almost never a time when I did not have lot's to do, however, it included work that included pro-active tasks.
I was given far more responsibility than I had anticipated and this allowed me to developed drastically quicker than I imagined.
I have already started doing things outside of work which I would never have been able to do because of the doors this placement opened. I feel more confident in my skills and employ-ability.
The Company
Friendly and supportive, everyone was always willing to talk and get along but that was balanced with focus to do work.
It was quite organised however there could have been slightly more attention given to communications before starting and also throughout with regards to placement related topics. Despite this it was highly organised.
I believe this company invested more in me than was required and left me motivated and passionate to work harder.

Very appealing future prospects with exciting progression.
The Culture
This could have been an area of development as there could have been a better social scene.
Relatively high however the pay covered all expenses and allowed for a decent standard of living,
There is almost no nightlight in the area I worked in but there are areas close by/London that have a good scene.
Yes there were plenty and it was also encouraged you take these up which gave it a good work-life balance.
