The Role
Massively; the Partnership culture the John Lewis Partnership is famous for really shines through. I was trusted to take on responsibility and my views were listened to and respected. I felt they appreciated my input and this was made visible with regular informal feedback. My team and broader stakeholders were so friendly, which really helped me settling in.

The Culture
Work was based in Bracknell but I lived 12 miles down the A329 in Reading - a great town with always something going on. A large student community meant there was a good (but not the best) nightlife, however you're only a 30min train journey away from central London.
The JLP have numerous societies you can join, which are free or heavily subsidized. This is also a great opportunity to meet Partners in other areas of the business.
