The Role
My placement has been fantastic, getting the oppurtunity to work in industry and getting hands on with real-life work situations.
My colleagues have been great, always have supported me and they trust me with working on my own projects.
My manager has always have been there to support me and allow me to get real understanding of the task in hand. If there was ever a time were I ran into trouble, my manager would help me but also makes sure I learn from my experiences.
I believe I always had something to do but on some occassions I feel I could have been given more tasks to-do.
Alot, been given the oppurtunity to run my own projects but to also project lead aswell has been a fantastic. There were some tasks which was vital for me to do or else it would delay the process for the team.
Getting the chance to work in industry specifically in the IT sector, has allowed me to thinks of ideas I could work on for my dissertation but also help me to choose which career path I would like to take within IT industry.
The Company
Nice open and quite office, with different teams working together as a whole department. Everyone is friendly and supportive but also have fun.
Every organised, from arranging training workshops to an easy and comfortable application process.
Alot with the BSH training program, allows us to get better understanding of the working enviroment but also how we can be more efficient with our work. I also have online traning for more technical programs such as Microsoft courses but also other topics aswell.
