The Role
Work placement was a very good experience and pleased to have been able to work at BSH for the year.
Felt like a valued member of the team.
Given the chance to experience lots of different opportunities and areas by my manager.
Quiet periods at times but was busy for majority.
Felt I was given a good amount of responsibility throughout my placement by being involved in a variety of projects.
Better able to manage and prioritise workload when going back to university.
The Company
Friendly office environment but majority of the time the office was quite quiet.
Many different opportunities to be apart of as well as different training sessions set up for the interns.
I feel there was opportunity for myself to develop due to the different experiences/projects/training sessions that I was involved with.
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
If the opportunity arose I would definitely think about returning to BSH.
The Culture
Lots of other interns at BSH made for a good social scene with the other students.
Only real club in the area but is a good night out. However, there are various bars in the city centre.
Boot camp session on a Monday after work as well as Yoga on a Tuesday. However, some of the interns joined a 7 a side football league in the local area.
