The Role
Great experience
Celebrated birthday and made to feel extremely welcome, from day one through to the final week and beyond.
Great support from small team, wider work group and internship manager.
Managed time well to ensure I was very busy.
Made responsible for own projects.
Improved communication skills that will help for years to come in academic life and career.
The Company
Slightly quieter due to summer period.
Lots of socials, networking events arranged with senior leadership members.
Huge time spent on coordinating the internship programme, that was made very visible in weeks one to ten.
