The Role
I really enjoyed my placement, Great amount of responsibility and good chance to be stretched during the year. Buying was so interesting and held completely different challenges
I felt really well valued by my colleagues. SO many good days out and team activities, good atmosphere
I was well supported, despite my line manager leaving the business during my time here I was well supported by other teams
Some days were absolutely manic, very draining and very intense. These days got less intense as I became better at the job however initially they were overwhelming and too frequent.
A great amount of responsibility, esp. in merchandising
Absolutley skills for life. from technical excel and email skills, industry knowledge and contact to soft skills including building work place relationships - this placement has definitely has a huge positive impact on me professionally.
The Company
Great combination of relaxed but everybody knows when to work hard. Friendliness is encouraged but sometimes feels forced
Well organised in the merchandising. Absolutly fanstastically thorough and well timetables training with constant feedback sessions generating instant improvements
Very well trained in a variety of skills
