The Role
would not choose this again if I knew what I was letting myself in for
team were great and very friendly, we had a lot of good times together
we didnt have a manager in our office, so saw them hardly ever
Mix of either too busy or nothing to do
I felt like I had been tricked into thinking I would be doing loads of great things, then when I actually started I was doing admin and data entry
I didn't feel I developed any skills other than being able to type things in quickly! I got to speak to a lot of senior peopel on the phone which was interesting but all I had to do was sell sell sell so I didn't get a lot of useful info out of the convo and felt like all I was doing was annoying people for the whole day by calling them up and pestering.
The Company
Noone believed in the company doing well in the area so often it was quiet, dull and people were making depressing remarks about how they accidentally fell into recruitment and how they would never have got into the industry if they had the chance again
Never knew what i was doing until the day, there was no structure, nothing I was supposed to have achieved by the end etc. I ended up just having to do everything noone else wanted me to do.
I was absolutely not being invested in! I was just used as someone to do boring jobs noone else wanted to.
National Travel
I got on really well with the team and would be taken back if I wanted to, but I definintely don't want to work for this company again. Not just because of my bad experience, but because of the way the company is run, managed and how staff are treated in this industry. I left and moved to another role in a totally different company and industry and it was absolutely brilliant, I was valued completely and the way the company is run is excellent. really showed me how much difference the way a company is managed makes
