The Role
Really enjoyed it, working in Enfield was great as the atmosphere in the office is relaxed and my colleagues were friendly.
Everyone was really friendly and were happy to give me important tasks to do
My manager was always on hand to help but let me have space to work at my own pace
I was given quite a lot of daily tasks, but once I had learnt how to do everything I never felt rushed or too busy.
I was trusted to the same level as all other employees.
Really helped me see how I can apply my skills to the workplace, but also what I need to improve on.
The Company
Great mixture of being relaxed and able to chat to people, but if you have something you need to get done you can concentrate and work hard.
Everybody was really welcoming, my projects had all been planned and everyone had been told I was coming and knew who I was.
I had training before I was expected to do any tasks by myself and my manager was always around if I needed help afterwards. I was encouraged to ask questions and learn things.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing, I haven't applied due to future commitments but I would definitely reccommend them to friends.
The Culture
Drinks after work, trips to the cinema, sports arranged at lunch time
The same as my home town, not as expensive as central London which I was suprised about seeing as it's so close.
Lots of pubs, bars and restaurants, and the train stations 2 minutes down the road to take you into London
I was added to emails for new starters and placement workers to organise social events after work, and organised some within my immediate colleagues too.
