    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Espcially the people and colleagues I worked with, were fantastic and made my internship a really pleasent experience. Although some working taskes were not very challenging and day to day business got a little bit broing. Overall my workingplace was well equipped, from time to time the office got a little bit busy with many colleagues joining from munich.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • 4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My direct superior was a caring and supportive boss. He was helpeful with every question I had and never turned me down. In addition he was never to busy to help me out regarding problem solving etc. Nebertheless HR at my workplace was a big dissapointment. Be it taking care of your contracts or helping with tax issues. HR office could not really help with any difficulties we had.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Atmosphere in the office was enjoyable. There was not even one situation where I had to feel uncomfortable. Everyone was nice and got along with each other. Be it a boss or any other employe no one ever yelled or shouted at someone. Even in busy times everyone kept relaxed and helped stressed colleagues.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was a disaster! Working contractes arravied after 1-2 month working. Working wear was provided way too late. Some interns got their workwear after 3 month working... HR was not supportive in any way. Be it support with tax issues or payment issues, you had to organise everything on yor own. Not enough information regarding insurance or tax regulation was provided.

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Unfortunately there were no job offers or even some futur planing from company's side. Even if you put a lot of effort in getting a job it was really tough. You could not even access to the BMW intranet page. Regarding job internal job offers, most times it was for experience hire. Furthermore almost all junior staff programms were closed.
