The Role
I enjoyed my placement
I felt my contribution was useful to the project i was working on.
I had a good amount of training and guidance.
I was busy enough and if i ever had spare time i could ask for more work, i never felt like i was given too much work.
I was given enough responsibility but not so much that i felt uncomfortable.
It was very useful to be able to learn how industry works while still being a student.
The Company
Comfortable.
It was well organised, all the students started together so had a good group atmosphere and all the training was very well organised.
There were reguarly personal development days.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would definitely apply to a job with AstraZeneca again.
The Culture
The group of students was close, and it was good that there were so may of us.
The cost of living was acceptable.
I lived in manchester which is known for its nightlife, however if i had lived in macclesfield i would have been slightly different.
Lots of opportunities both with and without work people.
