The Role
I am doing a job that it interesting, and am learning alot on the job
I feel like I am a key part of the team. I am given important tasks, and can ask for help as people make the time to help
When required I can ask for guidence and it be given, but am given the oportunity to work things out and work indipently
At the start it was slow, and I was asking for work, but gradually i have been given more work, and sometimes I too rushed and cannot complete it all. I often comes in waves, and At times there is too much, at others I can be quiet
I have been given a range of responcibilities, I am often leading taskes that can be production critical, but I also have tasks that just have to be done, and have no ongoing consiquences
I feel like i have learned alot of skills that will be helpfull in my development, I have been shown how things have to be done in industy, and I can work to this when contiuing on with my studdies
The Company
The office is a not the most joyful of places, but it is not un plesent, there are lots of people who are interseting, and i spend alot of time away from my desk in a more interesting enviroment
There is a structure to the internship, but it can be forgotten, and delayed, but i dont feel like i have missed out on anything because of this
Throughout my time in the company I have undergon several training course's that have helped me develop skills required for the world of work
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
There is nothing tieing me in, but i have gained contacts that i can call upon when the time comes to apply for a graduate roll, should i chose
The Culture
There is a social scene with other interns, with lots of things being organised, but I have not looked in to this.
I went for meals some times with collegues in the department, This was a chane restraunts useually, so were not expensive
I have not been out for nights out personally, but i have heard this it is not great in the area, and there is only really a few pubs locally
There are often emails sent out about oppertunities that available to do acctivities
