The Role
It was fairly interesting and not overly repetitive.
They were very welcoming and seemed genuinely grateful of my contribution.
They were very helpful if I had any problems and helped me get the best out if the internship.
Some days I was bored but most of the time the variety of things to do kept me interested, and at the end of the day you get out what you put in.
Not that much responsibility but when you're talking about somebody's business, that is more than understandable.
Very useful experience if I continue in the commercial banking sector.
The Company
The atmosphere was excellent. Very friendly with the right balance of work and banter. Felt comfortable from start to finish.
Pretty well although sometimes felt like things were organised quite late in the day. For example, not knowing where I would be based until about a week before it started but otherwise generally well organised.
I got to spend time with a whole variety of people within the commercial banking sector from personal associates up to area commercial directors and was also given opportunities to attend client meetings.
Hopefully receive an offer of a place on a graduate programme.
The Culture
Limited.
Was placed near home so living costs were minimal and didn't socialise very much so didn't spend a lot there.
Good student nights.
Very few.
