  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I was definitely stretched with my work load and the by the challenges set but the team were largely very kind and approachable which made being in the office enjoyable

    • I was made to feel of great value to the team by the work that was set and their attitude towards me

    • Hugely supportive 3rd year analysts in particular

    • I do biology so my course is irrelevant to a job in banking/finance, however my skills developed greatly during the course of the internship and will be of huge value beyond my studies

    • lovely people to work with but a very hard working team also

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • All kept very much in touch during and after the internship with frequent lunches and nights out whenever possible

    • No much time for socialising other than a few drinks every other Friday evening

    • No idea! Nice place for after work drinks, no idea about clubs though!

    • Due to the summer being a very busy time for my particular team I was wholly work focused for the entire period of my internship
