The Role
I have really enjoyed my Placement year. Changes to the team have been difficult and team morale has changed, however I would still rate my enjoyment as a 9.
Very valued. The work that I did was always valued.
My manager was extremely good. He was always there to help me when I needed it and always encouraged me to learn new things and help out in different projects.
My workload was heavy however it was not anything I could not handle. On the odd occasion when I was struggling to keep up, my colleagues were always happy to help me out.
A ridiculous amount. Usually with Legal placements, students are not given any real responsibility. I negotiated contracts daily without any supervision (once I was comfortable to do so) and I have learnt an incredible amount in such a short time.
I believe it will really help me with my degree. The way I think and tackle problems has completely changed and I am certain it will help me with my final year at Uni.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office has changed since I first started. Our team used to be extremely fun to be around, however changes to staff have changed that massively. Team morale is different and it is not as enjoyable. The atmosphere in the office itself is good. Most people are really friendly! However, sometimes members of the Sales team can be extremely rude and self-righteous. This makes it hard to want to do work for them, however it has been a good experience in learning how to deal with difficult people and how to manage people's expectations etc.
Extremely well organised! The Intern Project Team and the recruitment team make the process really simple for new interns. Also, having a large number of interns means that there is always friendly faces around the offices and it's nice to make so many new friends.
There are lots of online training sessions that can really help you! My team really committed to teaching me new things which was great. The company seem to be really invested in allowing interns to gain lots of new experience.

For me, this is hard to say as I need to qualify before I could ever work for SAP again. However, my friends in Sales and PreSales roles have been offered positions back at SAP which is great for them!
The Culture
There is such a good social scene. All the interns are pretty like minded so everyone gets on really well!
Hard for me to comment as I live at home, however I know that living in the surrounding area can be pretty pricey.
There is no nightlife in Feltham but its super easy to get into London and so lots of the interns do socialise there.
Yes, there are lots of CSR events and events within the team as well.
