The Role
Two very different projects, challenging work.
Very close, lots of good feedback and relationships built on trust.
Supported all the way through the placement, help was always available.
It varied from overly busy to very quiet.
Produced slides for use in board packs/presentations.
Hugely, gave context for everything I am learning at university.
The Company
Lots of events outside of work, fantastic environment.
Very well facilitated, lots of opportunities for self improvement and expanding your network. Lots of choice to move around within the company.
Intensive training week, lots of social events and dedicated staff.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
There was a strong focus on receiving an offer, they even had a session dedicated to show us how to behave/approach the partner interview at the end of our placement.
The Culture
Drinks every evening if you wanted and lots of organised (and funded) events too.
It was the city so quite expensive but there were lots of deals and good value places if you looked for them.
We were within a short journey of all the major areas for socialising, including Soho and Brick Lane.
Lots of social events and if I were to work there the number of sports opportunities was also very high.
